Terms of Service

1. Acceptance of Terms
By downloading, accessing, or using the Bridge application ("Bridge", "we", "us", or "our"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service.
If you do not agree to these Terms, you must not use the app.
You must be at least 18 years old to use Bridge. If you are using Bridge on behalf of a business or venue, you confirm that you have the authority to bind that entity to these Terms.
2. Description of the Service
Bridge provides a platform that connects live music artists with venues to arrange performances.
Bridge acts solely as an intermediary platform and is not a party to any agreements entered into between users. Any booking or arrangement made through Bridge is solely between the artist and the venue.
3. Apple App Store Disclaimer
If you downloaded Bridge from the Apple App Store:
- These Terms are between you and Bridge, not with Apple
- Apple is not responsible for the app or its content
- Apple has no obligation to provide maintenance or support services
- To the maximum extent permitted by law, Apple will have no liability for any claims relating to the app
- Apple and its subsidiaries are third-party beneficiaries of these Terms and may enforce them
4. Use of the Service
You agree to use Bridge only for lawful purposes and in a way that does not:
- Violate any laws or regulations
- Infringe the rights of others
- Harass, abuse, or harm other users
- Provide false or misleading information
- Attempt to bypass the platform, including taking bookings off-platform to avoid applicable fees
We reserve the right to investigate and take action against violations.
5. User Accounts
You are responsible for:
- Maintaining the confidentiality of your account
- All activity under your account
You must notify us immediately of unauthorised use.
We may suspend or terminate accounts that:
- Provide false information
- Engage in fraud
- Repeatedly cancel or fail to honour bookings
- Violate these Terms
6. Bookings, Payments & Fees
Bridge facilitates bookings and may process payments between users.
- Bridge is not responsible for the fulfilment, quality, or legality of any booking
- All agreements are between users
- Fees or commissions may apply and will be disclosed within the app
Payments may be processed via third-party providers. By using Bridge, you agree to their terms.
Bridge reserves the right to withhold or delay payments in cases of disputes or suspected fraud.
Important: Bridge does not use Apple's in-app purchase system for transactions between artists and venues, as these are real-world services.
7. Cancellations & No-Shows
Users are responsible for managing cancellations.
- Users should honour all confirmed bookings
- Cancellations or no-shows may result in penalties, reduced visibility, or account suspension
- Refunds (if applicable) are subject to Bridge policies and payment provider rules
Bridge may assist in resolving issues but is not obligated to do so.
8. Disputes Between Users
Disputes between artists and venues are the responsibility of those users.
Bridge may:
- Review disputes
- Request evidence
- Temporarily hold payments
Bridge does not guarantee outcomes and is not liable for disputes between users.
9. Content & User-Generated Content
You retain ownership of content you upload.
By uploading content, you grant Bridge a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free licence to use, display, and promote that content within the app and for marketing.
You agree not to upload content that:
- Is unlawful, harmful, or abusive
- Infringes intellectual property rights
- Is misleading or fraudulent
Bridge reserves the right to remove content and suspend accounts that violate these rules.
10. Privacy
Your use of Bridge is also governed by our Privacy Policy.
11. Termination
We may suspend or terminate access if:
- You breach these Terms
- Your behaviour harms users or the platform
You may stop using the app at any time.
12. Limitation of Liability
Bridge is provided on an "as is" basis.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Bridge is not liable for:
- Indirect or consequential losses
- Loss of profits, data, or business opportunities
- Issues arising from bookings or disputes between users
Nothing in these Terms excludes liability for:
- Death or personal injury caused by negligence
- Fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation
- Any liability that cannot be excluded under applicable law
13. Force Majeure
Bridge is not responsible for delays or failures caused by events outside our reasonable control.
14. Changes to Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of Bridge constitutes acceptance of any changes.
15. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales.
16. Entire Agreement
These Terms constitute the entire agreement between you and Bridge.
